King Promise might have had an “amazing year” with his career, but that will not stop the Afropop singer from beavering away on how the coming year will be a greater one for him.

According to the ‘Oh Yeah’ hitmaker himself, year 2019 is the next level for him and he cannot wait to show the world what he is made of, musically.

Speaking after the second edition of the annual 'Promise Land' concert, King Promise, known in real life as Gregory Promise Bortey Newman said he is grateful to God for a great show and most importantly a successful year.

“I’ve had an amazing year. From January till now it has been blessings upon blessings so I’m thankful for where are now. I’m thankful for the success of this show tonight. You never know, you just come out hoping it comes out great but it turned out amazingly well.” He said.

Given that King Promise has built a steady rising profile with timely releases and collaborations with top-notch artistes like Sarkodie, Fuse ODG, Stonebwoy, Mr Eazi and recently Wizkid, the budding star revealed plans for more global tours.

Although the Legacy Life Entertainment (LLE ) signee did not disclose what exactly he had for 2019, he was certain Ghanaians and music lover worldwide should expect the unexpected.

In his words, “Always next level. Last year we said we were gonna do something that cuts across here in Ghana and we did it and this year, we were like we taking it international. We gonna go out there, go on tour and let them hear all the beautiful music we have from Ghana and we have done that. We have done the UK, we’ve done Europe, we’ve done America, we’ve done Nigeria and now we are here in Ghana”.

“So next year higher heights. We are praying for bigger things. By God’s Grace it shall be well,” he added.
