F. Malawi Company gives to NAFTI

Accra, May 4 GNA - Messrs F. Malawi Engineering Company Limited on Tuesday presented a 30-seater Nissan bus valued at 500 million cedis to the National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI) at a ceremony in Accra.

The presentation was made through the Ministry of Communications to the Institute.

Mr Ahmad F. Karime, Deputy Managing Director of the Company, said the presentation formed part of the Company's social responsibility to needy institutions in the country.

Mr Karime said the Company would ensure the maintenance of the bus from now till the end of the year.

Mr Martin Loh, Director of NAFTI, said the bus would bring new dimension in the work of the Institute since it would replace the old bus that down 10 years ago.

He said the presentation was going to assist students in their project work thereby enhancing quality education in the country. Nana Akomea, Minister of Information, who received the key to the bus on behalf of the Institute thanked the Company and called on other philanthropists to emulate the company.
