Top and underground musicians in Ghana last Saturday turned the Obra spot at circle upside down when they thrilled music lovers at the One Ghana concert.

The show, the first of its kind saw top artistes like Okyeame Kwame, Raquel, Trigmatic, M.anifest, Tina Asante, Afriyie of Wutah fame, Cabum, Luther, AJ Nelson and several others perform live to an over excited crowd.

For most of the people in the crowd, it was the first time they were witnessing such performances and so they couldn't hide their joy as they sang along word to word and danced to their favourite songs.

Organizers of the concert, Fiesta, a digital TV channel operated by Accra based production house Ohene Media, explained that aside unifying Ghanaians through music and entertainment, the concert also created a platform for popular artistes to get closer to their numerous fans who can't afford to pay for shows and also gave underground and upcoming artistes a platform to perform.

"Earlier this year, we launched our online platform Fiesta GH and promised that part of the revenue we would generate would be used in supporting and promoting the music industry, this event is one of them. The first edition of the show has been very successful and we are optimistic that in the subsequent years, it would be much better" CEO of Ohene Media, Abraham Ohene Djan said.

Another highlight of the show was when chairman of the NDC, Dr. Kwabena Adjei after advising the audience on the need to put our political differences aside and move on as a nation, took to the stage and did his own rendition of the popular Azonto and Alkaida dance.

MC's for the night, Andy Dosty, Sammy Bee and Nana Foxy ensured that there were no dull moments by filling the intervals with rib cracking jokes, "free styling" as well as organizing dancing competitions amongst the audience.
