Popular Facebook commentator and showbiz personality, Kelly Nii Lartey Mensa, should either be regretting or celebrating this day (June 1) because the 'bomb' he received from Ewe rapper, Edem for slamming him wasn't what he has ever anticipated.
Kelly, in one of his posts on Facebook today commended BET Award winner, Sarkodie, on his new track "Take It Back" but along the line dropped in his worries over Edem's constant releases of dance songs (popularly called in Ga dialect as 'Asorkpor').
According to Nii, Edem was and has always been known for producing hardcore rap songs, but his latest songs are somewhat deviating.
Nii wrote; "I respect Sarkodie cos of his allegiance to hip-hop. Even though he forgot to big up Dr Duncan in 'take it back' I refused to write any post on that cos the song quenches my hardcore hip-hop thirst. Now let's take it back to gogetem, back to when Edem used to chew Ewe lyrics like ayigbe biscuits. Now manners make slow dey play asorkpor from left to right... every small chance norrrr dem dey shout 'special delivery ' on some Azonto levels.... Jack ?#?asorkpormustdie?">/i>
A few hours after his post went viral, Edem probably saw it or was told and the reply he gave him was damning.
The "Nyedzilo" hitmaker also took to Facebook to tell him directly that, what he wrote was nonsense. In fact, read the drama;
