Rapper Medikal, put together a star studded concert dubbed Welcome to Sowutuom. The event which happened at Kwashieman School Park, a suburb of Acca witnessed spectacular performances from acts such as Shatta Wale, DJ Switch, King Promise, Joey B among others.
The event which witnessed some amazing performances from these celebrities and musicians was almost marred, when some fans collapsed after the huge speakers on stage fell on them.
It was unclear what exactly caused the speakers to fall, but Ghanaweb.com cameras caught the incident which happened during the performance of Shatta Wale.
Policemen could be seen rushing to the scene where the accident had occurred. It was later discovered that a few of the fans had been surrounded, and those hurt were being fanned, as a way of supplying them air.
The victims were later rushed to the hospital.
