Fast rising artiste, Daud Agyeman known by stage name Daud who recently broke his musical silence with the release of the hood anthem dubbed "C2" will be releasing the long awaited mixtape dubbed “Viral” 1st
September 2018.
Prior to the release of "C2" his music was rudimentary characterized by rhymes sputtered in the queens language.
Subject to the release of 'C2', Daud has hinted his growth as an artiste who now inculcates local dialects into his music and an overall relatively more relatable theme as opposed to his earlier releases.
According to Daud, “VIRAL is a carefully selected abbreviation which represents Volition In Realizing all Longings but that's only one of the three dimensions which necessitated the choice of title. The second dimension that necessitated the choice of title is a mission statement as to how far "I intend going with the tape and that is VIRAL”.
Daud went on to add that VIRAL mixtape features a collection of cover songs that have overwhelmingly influenced his rap career and as such is one intended solely for promotional purposes as seen in a disclaimer issued on the back cover of the project.
Hailing from the city of Tema, which in the past decade has solidified a legacy of churning out rap heavyweights in the Music Industry such as Sarkodie, Omar Sterling, and more recently Kwesi Arthur, one cannot help but wonder if Daud (Agyeman) is the next successor to hold the mantle of rap and arrive the city of Tema to the promised land.
