Fatau Keita makes history; nominated in Ghana Music Awards SA

One of the most dedicated musicians Ghana has ever produced, Fatau Keita has been nominated in this year’s Ghana Music Awards South Africa.

Ghana Music Awards South Africa shines a spotlight on the best Ghanaian Musicians who excel in Ghana and in South Africa.

Fatau Keita’s nomination is not surprising at all as he has really worked hard in the year under review.

A vocalist with an amazing musical expression and intense stage performance, Fatau Keita’s live concerts constantly exude intense energy along with a magnetic stagecraft.

He has performed to cheering audiences in various parts of Ghana and a number of African countries. With one album titled ‘Selina’ and a number of singles to his credit, Keita’s music is a blend of traditional Dagomba styles with highlife.

He has been nominated in the Highlife Artist of The Year category where he faces stiff competition from Bisa Kdei, Kumi Guitar, Kuami Eugene, Kidi, Dada Hafco and KK Fosu.

Organized by Media Africa Studios,this year’s edition ,of the Ghana Music Awards South Africa which is the maiden edition, will take place at Ebony Lounge Pretoria — West South Africa on the 3rd Of November, 2018.

With his nomination, Fatau Keita makes history as one of the artists to be nominated in the maiden edition of the award scheme.
