Controversial Counselor George Lutherodt has stated that it is not the responsibility of fathers to hand over gifts to their children but the responsibility of the mothers
He said a man must immediately handover whatever thing he brought home to the wife for the woman to present it to the children.
Speaking on Afisem Saturday, Counselor Lutherodt said the woman after collecting the gift must ensure that the children thank their father for whatever thing was given to them.
According to him once that is done the children will respect their father.
But according to Pastor Stephen Yedu Padmore, Head Pastor ICGC, Dome Paraku Estate, the method is wrong since that would rather cause fear at home whenever the children see their father.
