You may not have heard her music playing on your local FM station, but Faustina Asiedu is another hot item.
Faustina Asiedu has loved music and singing since she was a little girl, when she would often perform for her family members, but now she’s taken things to another level and performs regularly in public.
Faustina started getting serious about her music some years ago. “It’s always been deep down in me,” she said.
For the past five years, Faustina has been playing at good shows at public places. She plays regularly and is working on her debut CD that she hopes to have soon.
Faustina said that she would love to make performing music her full-time profession if that’s where it takes her and if that is God’s plan.
Faustina says she considers herself a big artiste now because wherever she goes people come in droves to see her and she hopes to win music awards come soon.
However, Faustina is a total different female artiste. While many local musicians are intent on just recording a ‘good’ album that will earn them millions of cedis, Faustina’s goal this year is to make an outstanding album that is both gorgeous and beautiful to listen to. And she has almost done it.
What makes Faustina a top cut is its unexpected deepness. Her album boasts of a vast range of textures and rhythms as it takes detours into different music genres.
