Female musician to launch album on wedding day

Many call their wedding ceremonies a celebration of love but sensational choral and contemporary music composer, Ellen White, is yet to set a pace by launching her latest album titled “Mesor wo mu yie’ during her wedding ceremony.

An event she calls a celebration of love and music on April 9, 2017 at the Breman SDA Church, Kumasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.

The album which has six songs namely, Mayen odor, Merenyae wo, M’adamfowaa, Mesor wo mu yie, yenfa Odor mmom and Wohe me hene is a dedication of love songss in honour of Mr. Frank Osei Mensah, husband to be of the composer.

Speaking in an interview Miss Ellen White said she feels excited about what God has done for her and for giving her love in addition.

“Expect a moment of love and music on that day. I am launching a new album full of love songs. It is my weeding day and the feeling is amazing. I call it a celebration of love and music” She said.

Miss Ellen White has composed a total of 60 choral songs with about 200 contemporary gospel songs.

According to her, her focus is to strengthen singing bands in Ghana, stating that there are a lot of amazing choirs in Ghana and in various churches but singing bands have been neglected. A phenomenon she describes as worrying in the music industry. The M’adamfowa composer aside music, works as an administrator for the Ahwene memorial hospital in Bekwai in the Ashanti Region.
