The faculty Members of television awards Ghana 2014 has finally conclude nomination by casting its vote on the nomination of the final television award selected for this year award slated on the 10th October, 2014 in Accra.
The voting was handle by the electoral commission and the Ghana police force with some committee members present at the election.
Project coordinator of television award Ghana, Gideon Oyiadu Jingles disclosed to journalist present at the voting that, couple of challenges emerges television awards to come this far in the industry.
He said during counting of the votes faculty members, committee members, board of trustee, accounting factors and the will be present to observe the counting to show transparent and fairness after which announcing of the winners will be done at the main ceremony.
Jingles said the uniqueness of the television award is important because the national communication authority has indicated strongly that they see television award Ghana as an opportunity to launch the migration air force so that the country will have protection from the international agencies.
He said it also serve as opportunity for the television industry platform and also hope that this year winners will serve as guide for the huge industry activities.
In his view the planning committee see a bigger platform than the world cup because cooperate Ghana looks into the general public and not what they advertize on.
“800 technical people and stations is expected to participate but must be able to celebrate the success of all those who stand the chance of winning award.
We hope that this will set a tool for television awards Ghana success and also the development of the industry as well as its longer period of time it stays.
