Evans wished his favourite quote as an athlete would help the Black Stars through the journey: “ The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand“.

The Houston TX, based fitness model also called on Ghanaians to give their support to the team.

“It is your duty to support this team the best way you know how. It is time for us all to come together as one nation no matter where you are located in the world and let the world know who we are! We are the Black Stars of Ghana and should not be underestimated. This is the first time that the FIFA World Cup is being held in the motherland, on African soil so let’s help keep the Cup in Africa. Ghana Black Stars WILL WIN and make history in the 2010 FIFA Soccer World Cup in South Africa! Let us all celebrate this moment in time safely but with extreme zeal.
