On December 3, 2006 it was reported that Ghanaian hip-life artiste, Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, popularly known in showbiz as Mzbel, together with her dancers were robbed and sexually assaulted by two men.
The two, Kennedy Agodzi and Munkaila Tahiru who were in Odorkor Police grips escaped from cell between 9 and 10pm on Saturday.
It appeared that the culprits fled with two other suspected criminals, Godson Wuvube who was charged with robbery and Eric Atiamu being held in connection with a murder case at Sowutuom in Accra.
The four are said to have poured pepper soup into the eyes of the policeman on duty when he opened the cell to admit fresh suspects.
It was also reported that there was a power cut at the time so the policeman opened the cell gate for some new entrants, the escapees overpowered him and bolted.

Two out off three people being held by the Odorkor Police for robbing and sexually assaulting hiplife star Mzbel and her dancers have escaped from their cell.
The two, Kennedy Agodzi and Munkaila Tahiru reportedly broke away from their cell at the Odorkor Police Station between 9 and 10pm on Saturday night.
Two other suspected criminals, Godson Wuvube being held for robbery and Eric Atiamu being held in connection with a murder case at Sowutuom in Accra are reported to have escaped with the two.
