Ghanaian media mogul and entrepreneur Deloris Frimpong Manso known simply as Delay has advised a fan to prioritize the need to make an impact on the society rather than focusing on having babies.

This comment from the TV hostess was passed after she posted a picture on her social media which enabled a fan to comment her opinion on Delay’s inability to be married and produce a child of her own.

According to the fan whose handle reads Canyave, she thought it wise to caution Delay on her inability to produce a child at her age due to her focus on her career.

She added that all the efforts the presenter puts in her work will come to nothing if she does not produce an heir who will benefit from it.

“Let the fruits of your womb enjoy your hard labour my dear sis, because after all this hard work if you don’t have kids who will enjoy, it will be working in vein. Even If you don’t want to marry a kid or two will do, my humble opinion.” @Canyave The fan wrote.

This comment, however, did not sit well with the controversial female celebrity and she again took to her Instagram to reply where she jabbed the fan in question for what she believes to be naivety on her part.

Delay directly made visible her displeasure in the lady’s comment and sharply informed her she was not the only woman to not have a child of her own especially for reason’s such as infertility and cited the world-famous Opera Winfrey as an example.

Delay went on to point out that having kids and being married is not something that can be solely provided by man but is a direct gift from the Almighty. Reiterating her thoughts on the issue she further stated that there are females with no kids but still go on to influence the world in great ways.

“I posted a picture of the Delay product this morning and a lady wrote this comment which I find very unfortunate and sad. It’s very insensitive especially coming from a woman. People forget about the fact that there are women out there who are facing fertility issues.”

Delay continued; “If you have a womb, it is not guaranteed that you will have children. Marriage and childbirth are all blessings from God. @Canyave you may have children, @Opera opera doesn’t have any, but you haven’t made an impact in the world than her.”
