Four-day ‘Kroboland' food festival set for October 24-27

The first-ever ‘Kroboland Food Festival,’ a food and music festival with high standard quality reggae music stars and icons from Ghana and other parts of the world, takes place from Thursday, 24-Sun, 27 October 2019 at Odumase-Krobo in the Eastern Region as part of the activities lined up for the 2019 annual Ngmayem festival.

Neko Pue Noko Farms, Jah Mikal Entertainments in collaboration with Rite FM are proud to present the Kroboland Food & Art Festival billed to take place at the Krobo Odumase Anglican Park near Kalamazoo.

A positive vibration of music, food, arts and socialising will come alive during the events, the return of the Binghiman with the Nayabinghis live in Ghana.

Kroboland Cultural Food Festival is to promote the ethnic and indigenous ways of Krobos to promote farming activities aimed at showcasing rural indigenous food items, and the various fruits produce.

It is also an art service and community-based social work production setting a whole new standard in the quality of People, party food and fashion production and service, by merging the entertainment, arts, the music, message and culture of Krobo People and thereby take the culture, music and heritage to merge with the youth and community of Ghana.

Some key features of ‘Kroboland Food Festival’ include a football gala and a food bazaar which will be opened to the general public, a workshop for local farmers, artist adopt a school program, supplies of farming seedlings and about us, and many others.

Some artistes billed to perform on all three major concerts include Binghiman, Ras Kuuku, Iwan, Konkarah Jahvybz, Osagyefo, Kojo Kombolo, XInc, Ex - Doe, Dat Ta Ras, King Vuvu, Jahwyz, Sancious, Rabai Uhuru, Queen Ruky, Shanti Yard, Don Razler, Futurebwoy, Crystal Safoa, Addi Selorm and Bad Pak.

The rest are Bofo T, Blakka Rout, Tonnero, Rudy SK Vibes, Lucky Stick, Maxi Okoro, Kofi Wayo, Akpana, Krobo Makosa, Soulberg, Saddi Blinks, Ini Jahson, Euno Melo, Rudebwoy Ranking, Khamelyon, Kofi Wayo and raft of local and upcoming artistes.

Come and enjoy live music, fine art displays, food festival and dozens of fun attractions and highlights.

Patrons will also be treated to assorted meals and drinks with some from ancient days which truly defines the Krobo culture and the heritage of Krobo land.

However live music performances will hijack the celebrations into the middle of the night come 26th October with DJs including DJ Use, DJ Manni, DJ Nature Won, DJ Modern Gh, DJ Rootbwai and DJ Naughty Fingers to power music during the festival.

MCs for the festival include King Lagazy, SO G, Harry Joe and Nana Dubwise.
