*IN AID OF THE OSU CHILDREN'S HOME*
Charity really begins at home and a group of Gospel music heavyweights have
joined forces to put up a show in support of the well known orphanage
center; Osu Children's Home in Accra; Ghana. The venue for this inspiring,
thoughtful and anointing occasion occurred at BBT, a very popular Ghanaian
church in New York which is gaining its notoriety for hosting Gospel shows
and online prayer sessions daily at dawn and dubbed; "The Jericho Hour".
The event featured some of the finest Ghana Gospel Musicians ever assembled;
Super Star Francis Agyei , the main artiste known for his non stop inspiring
and emotionally charged live performances, Minister Helena Rhabbles, "The
Godmother of Ghanaian Gospel Music" and New York's finest; Sylvia Asamoah, a
veteran Ghanaian gospel musician in the USA, Vivian Ofori also dubbed; The
future of the Ghanaian gospel music - Grace Dansowaa; the event show stopper
who started the show on a good foot, Rebecca Osei who changed the mood of
the event (she is known as the lady with anointing), Ben Obeng - great
singer with a dynamic voice also the future of Ghanaian Gospel Music,
Isabella Kyei and Anita Asumedu who gracefully led the worship.
Minister Rhabbles who helped with the fundraising, in her brief remark,
mentioned how years ago in Ghana she had adopted the Osu Children's Home as
it was her passion to make a difference. She would organize a show to raise
money for the orphanage during the festivities. When the organizers of the
event asked if she wanted to offer her support, she did not hesitate to be
part of it. At that moment, she had planned to attend to an event but she
had to reschedule.
When Gospel music heavyweight; Francis Agyei held the microphone and started
performing many rushed to the floor and danced. When it slowly turned to
worshipping, many were empowered by the Holy Spirit and so overwhelmed that
they had to lie on the floor. Truly , participants attested that they had
felt the presence of the Lord.
The success of the event could be measured by the inspirational performances
by all artistes involved and the collaboration of organizers in making this
a memorable occasion .
The artistes were also supported by experienced instrumentalists and the
BBT Choir.
The host of the great evening's occasion was none other than; Klenam
