Free SHS has reduced the number of people who ask for financial support - Diana Asamoah

Veteran Evangelist and gospel artiste, Diana Asamoah has disclosed that during the Mahama administration she usually got numerous calls from people seeking for assistance in respect of their ward’s school fees.

She noted that the number of people who usually call her on a daily basis for financial help towards paying school fees has reduced drastically. She attributed this decline to the NPP’s new free education policy which has eased the financial burden of most parents.

She said;

“When NDC was in power, almost everytime people would call me asking me for help to pay for their wards fees, but ever since Nana Addo came to power and implemented the Free SHS policy, i no longer get bombarded with calls of such nature”

Diana Asamoah further urged Ghanaians to re-elect the NPP into power in the presidential elections come 2020. She opines that the NPP government’s social intervention policy i.e the Free SHS is commendable and should be maintained.
