Frema Ashkar romantically sings her favourite Kwabena Kwabena’s song ‘Mene woaa'

Celebrated Contemporary Highlife musician,Kwabena Kwabena is set to launch his 5th album ‘Ahyesi’ on Thursday ,November 30.

The launch which will be held at the Plus 233 Pub and Grill in Accra will witness live performances from supporting artistes like legendary contemporary Highlife musician Ofori Amponsah, Coded of 4X4 fame, Asantewaa, and M.anifest.

Popular movie stars like Nana Ama Mcbrown, Martha Ankomah and James Gardner will also be gracing the much publicized occasion.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Rossy of Razzonline.com,the manageress of Kwabena Kwabena, Frema Ashkar who doubles as a broadcaster at Metro TV confirmed the release of the 5th album.

According to Frema Ashkar, the album (Ahyesi) contains nine (9) songs but 'Tuamudaa, Siwagedem, Mene Woaa and ‘Adansie’ featuring M.anifest are already out.

Explaining why Kwabena Kwabena featured M.anifest,the ‘Good Morning Ghana' hostess accentuated that,

”Well, if you look at his act, M.anifest believes in Africanism, he believes in originality..M.anifest and Kwabena have something in common; if you look at who the two artistes are…so when we are looking for someone for collaborations or do something with we look for someone who understands what we represent...what we stand for... you look at Kwabena and M.anifest branding they may not look alike but you can get the motivation and the inspiration”, Frema opined to Rossy.

The most exhilarating part of the interview is when Frema Ashkar romantically sung ‘Mene Woaa’ which happens to be her favorite Kwabena Kwabena’s song.
