Emerging music act, Julius Sedaminu better known as Julius FaKta says emerging as the 2nd runner up in the ‘Dance with Peter’ dance competition in Nigeria broadened his horizon and strengthened his resolve to thrive in the entertainment industry as a dancer, musician and producer.

In ‘Dance with Peter’, that is one half of Nigerian singing duo P-Square, FaKta who auditioned with a dance group at the National Theatre would be urged on by judges to re-audition as a solo act because of his impressive moves.

He would later be part of 6 Ghanaians to join 24 Nigerians in Lagos rounding up to 30 contestants vying for the top position.

After about 16 weeks of dancing and being molded by the judges, FaKta would come home to Ghana with a 2016 Kia Rio salon car and ?1 million as his prize package for being the 2nd runner up.

Fakta, a University of Ghana graduate is signed to Kass Media on a 5 year deal and already he’s birthed the ‘Flow’ tune with a second song almost complete to be released. Already he’s offered ‘Suku’, Old Photo ft. Pataapa.

By way of meals, ‘akple’ and groundnut soup is his favourite while consuming Afropop and RnB tunes soothes him. King Promise and Sarkodie are two current artists Fakta enjoys listening to.

The Kpando native was birthed to a policeman dad; Steven Sedaminu and a trading mum; Theresa Sedaminu with 6 other siblings.

His dancing interest begun in Junior High School with his music passion getting triggered in Senior High School thanks to music and dance notables like Michael Jackson, Usher Raymond IV and Chris Brown.

FaKta’s dance gifts have seen him win competitions including the Xmas Fiesta in 2009, placing 2nd in the Malta Guinness Street Dance competition in 2011 as well as winning countless local dance competitions.
