Usually, new movie production houses start with a movie release; studies the market, correct shortfalls, and later hit back.

Media 5 Promotions, the latest movie production house to hit the Ghana Movie Industry, wants to break that unofficial rule to join the big league of local movie producers with three back-to-back releases in its first three months of operation.

Who Am I, Wrong Line and Obsession are all ready for release immediately the local FRC gives Media 5 the green light.

27-year-old ceo of Media 5, David Owusu explains his secret to Hi Newspaper, “I relied on the vast experience gathered in my past 10 years working with other production houses as Production Manager to move things as fast as I could without compromising on quality”

Speaking of quality, check out the star-studded cast: Who Am I features Jim Iyke (Nigeria), Yvonne Nelson, Francesca Grey and Karhema Aguiar; 'Wrong Line' features Ini Edo (Nigeria), Nadia Buari, Ekow Smith Asante; and 'Obsession' features Eddie Kouffie, Jim Iyke and Nicky Samone.

Since then, he's been the Production Manager and Associate Producer of all six Young Father movies including: Black Taliban, Cold Tears, Honey Coochi Cochi, and the yet to be released 'Love & Lust'. David wrote three of the movies.

He was the production manager of the late Kwame Owusu Ansah's first own-production, 'Day of Restoration' (Jake Aenan) and also managed productions for TVC, EVS and Vision Production.

David claims to always rely on his 'don't-wait-for-manners-from-heaven' philosophy and excellent interrelation skills especially with artistes and crew.

In 2009, he did PM for Bandex's 2009 hit movie, Millions (John Dumelo, Juliet Ibrahim, Vivian Achor); and ) in February this year managed Bandez’s yet-to-be-released ‘King Jomo’ (Kofi Adjorlolo, Omar Sheriff Captan, Juliet Ibrahim).

Just after the South Africa 20101World Cup he releases 'Who Am I'. He's already started plans to premiere ‘Obsession’ and ‘Wrong Line’ in grand style in August and October 2010 respectively. Jim Iyke flies down to support locals, led by Yvonne Nelson for a 5-City ‘Obsession Tour’ in October.
