Fuse ODG composes song for AirtelTigo

Global afrobeat and Ghanaian superstar, Nana Richard Abiona, popularly known as Fuse ODG has recently composed a song titled ‘Fuse Bundle Song’ for AirtelTigo’s ‘Fuse bundle’, an all-in-one product that can be used to call all networks and browse the internet with no expiry.

The Fuse Bundle Song and dance were unveiled in an interactive Facebook Live event hosted by popular media personality, Jay Foley where the audience was entertained by a group of dancers performing the Fuse dance led by renowned dancer Dancegod Lloyd and joined by Fuse ODG in London.

The composition of the song is part of the Fuse Bundle campaign to connect customers to both the functional and emotional traits of AirtelTigo brand.

“Our brand promise is to make life simple for customers and the Fuse Bundle which does not expire is another example of our commitment to that promise. We are excited about the collaboration with Fuse ODG since his unique artistry which embodies the spirit of Ghana, firmly resonates with our brand promise,” said Mr. Prince Acheampong who is the Chief Finance Officer at AirtelTigo, the second-largest Mobile Network Operator in Ghana.

“When I heard the name of the AirtelTigo product, I knew I had to be a part of it. This was my first time composing a song for a telecom company in Ghana and it was exciting blending music and dance to highlight the vibe of using the Fuse Bundle,” shared Fuse ODG who is one of Ghana’s Tourism Ambassadors and also the visionary of the TINA Festival, an annual 3-day celebration of Afrobeats culture held in partnership with Ghana Tourism Authority’s Year of Return initiative.

“We believe that music is a medium that connects seamlessly, and our association with Fuse ODG is an exciting step in that direction. Fuse ODG is an innovator, passionate creator and active influencer who is helping young people realize their aspirations. His talent is truly immense and without a doubt, one of the biggest music exports from the shores of West Africa to the world,” added Mr. Acheampong.

In the coming weeks, AirtelTigo will engage customers with a series of activities on the Fuse Bundle Song and dance. The Fuse ODG composed song will be featured on AirtelTigo radio and TV promotions for the Fuse Bundle.
