GBC scoops four awards at 20th GJA Awards night

Ghana Broadcasting Corporation's Rebecca Ekpe won the local governance category award, Rebecca Awuah of GTV won the Arts and Tourism Awards, Abdul Hayi Moomen won the Human Right aategory and Nii Adjei Klu of GBC-Obonu won the health category for electronic award.

They expressed joy for winning the awards and promised to work harder for more laurels.

Meanwhile, Seth Kwame Boateng of the Multi Media Group Joy FM, has been adjudged the 2015 GJA/PAV Ansah journalist of the year.

This brings to four, the number of individuals from the group who have won the journalist of the year award.

President John Mahama who was the Guest Speaker saluted all Ghanaian journalists for their contributions towards building democracy.

He however expressed concern about the rise in falsehood on social media.
