GCB supports Art Studio project at KNUST

Kumasi June 4, GNA - The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) branch of the Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) has donated a cash of GH¢700.00 to support an Art Studio project of the University. Mr Iddrisu Muniru, Branch Manager, said the donation was part of the

social responsibility of the financial entity.

He said the bank would continue to support the development of infrastructure as well as the research activities of the university. Dr Adu Agyem, Head of the Department of General Art Studies, who received the money, said KNUST was grateful to the bank for the gesture. He called for closer co-operation between the university and industr y to inject some pace into the socio-economic development of the country.
