Fashion Expo GEIG to host an Arts/ Culture Expo &.Fashion Show

The Girls Education Initiative Ghana, GEIG turned two years old on January 10, 2016.

To celebrate, they present a cultural expo and fashion show to showcase creative pieces. The show will be intertwined with arts and music, and spiced with a cocktail. It will be held at the A&C Mall Campus of Lancaster University, Ghana at 6pm prompt on February 6, 2016.

Additional to the festivities planned for the evening, this event will be used to raise funds to augment its 2016 programs.

Strategically located at an easy accessible spot in East Legon, the A&C Mall Campus will be transformed into a gorgeously customised venue, stylised for this modish red carpet and runway affair.

The event begins in an elegant evening of style which will have informative sessions on the organization, highlight Ghanaian cultural artists such as Agoroba of the Kumasi cultural center, comedian James Brown of the KSM show, and saxophonist Big Dee.

This event will also highlight the talents of GEIG students who developed fashion collections, with the assistance and mentorship of designers, Adwoa Yeboah of Adwoa Yeboah clothing and Nettie Anang of Saki Col.

The designs will be sold during the program to support the GEIG girls' needs for the remainder of the 2016 school year.
