GH-One Hip Hop Awards Festival Coming Soon

The entertainment industry is about to heat up as the now popular, GH-One Entertainment Television, prepares to crown the screening of exciting programming with the introduction of a new urban music festival.

The festival dubbed GH-One Hip Hop Awards Festival, according to organizers, will be a celebration of the growing Hip hop culture in Ghanaian music.

The Awards Festival was born out of the desire to appropriately recognize and appreciate the growing Hip hop culture and its numerous players in the Ghanaian music industry. Hip hop in Ghana, much like in other parts of the worlds, has become the dominant force that drives the music industry.

The Gh-One Hip Hop Awards festival would be the first ever exclusive Hip Hop festival that is powered by the introduction of the much anticipated entertainment Television station – GH-one. The Festival is expected to bring together all the various elements of Hip Hop in Ghana under one roof, to celebrate the popular music and culture.

The Music Festival is planned to take off in the last quarter on GH-One Entertainment TV and will culminate in two days of festivities designed to celebrate Ghana’s Hip hop industry as well as Ghanaian born Hip hop artistes who are breaking into international music circles with their brand of music.

It will bring Ghanaian artistes and their African counterparts together through the many Hip hop artistes across the continent who will be invited to join the festival. Music festivals are known to boost the competitive spirit of players which invariably leads to a growth in the industry and the Gh-One Hiphop Festival will certainly inject enough excitement into the music industry in Ghana.

This Festival promises to attract a lot of media attention as it is tied in to the grand introduction of Gh-One Entertainment TV which has been test transmitting for some time now. As a TV station totally dedicated to the Arts, expect a fantastic Music Festival Experience.

Although organizing the Music Festival itself rests heavily on Gh-One Entertainment Television, Charterhouse sister company to Gh-One TV and organizers of flagship events like the Ghana Music Awards Festival, have placed their seal of marksmanship on the festival scheme and this can only mean good things for the GH-One Hiphop Festival.
