The chiefs and people of Asokore Mampong Traditional Area in the Ashanti Region held a grand Durbar to officially introduce Miss Abigail Nsiah Afrah popularly known as Afrah in the ongoing TV3 Ghana’s most beautiful 2018 Edition.

The Durbar saw a colourful display of Ashanti Culture and tradition as distinguished Chiefs and government officials made time to grace the occasion.

Nana Boakye Ansah the Omanhene of Asokore Mampong who also doubles as Otumfuo Nifahene used the occasion to admonish the youth of Ghana to emulate such steps in picking up leadership roles to positively impact their communities and the nation at large.

He also assured his unflinching support for Miss Afrah and urged her to do her possible best to bring the crown to the Ashanti Region.

The occasion also saw other respected traditional and government leaders from Bantama, Domeabra, Ejisu, Breman, Dadiesoaba, Adagya, Dida and other places from the Ashanti Region. Other important personalities to grace the occasion were Mr Alidu Seidu the MCE for Asokore Mampong, Dr Kennedy Owusu Agyeman-CEO of Time Herbal Mixture and Mr Kwaku Oteng- CEO of Angel Group

As a black skin activist, Afrah made a solemn promise to take advantage of her new platform to learn new skills, maximize potentials and educate Ghanaians on the effects of skin bleaching.
