Upper East Regional representative in this year’s TV3 Ghana’s Most Beautiful pageant has tipped regional neighbour, Upper West Regional rep, Nuo, to be the first contestant to exit the 13 week-competition which started on Sunday.
While the nine other contestants evaded the question could likely go home on the first eviction, Wekia did not hesitate in predicting the eviction of Nuo, claiming Upper West rep is not serious as in her view, she is too playful
“I think she [Nuo] is not pushing up; she is not really pushing, everyone is on their toes trying to work their way out, but I think she plays a lot, I think she is not really pushing hard, so for me, I think Nuo will be the first to be evicted,” Wekia said in a Facebook live interactive session with 3news.com from the reality complex in Accra Wednesday.
Asked who her top competitors were, Wekia said Northern Region’s Nabia and Ohema from the Brong Ahafo Region pose the most threat to her.
Speaking about her first experience on stage, Wekia said she was comfortable, and gave off her best.
She promised to keep up the level of energy throughput the competition, stating she would give off her very best to win the crown which will be the 12th in the history of the competition that seeks to promote culture and tourism.
At the first live performance, Eastern Regional representative, Abena emerged as the Star Model at the end of the show.
Ohema from the Brong Ahafo Region was also adjudged the contestant with the Best Casual and Evening Wear.
Speaking about her two awards during the interactive session, Ohema noted that winning is a challenge for her to do more throughout the competition.
“I always say the award comes as a challenge, I need to prove to people. I need to prove to Ghana that I deserve more so I am not relaxed because I have two awards.”
This year’s competition is under the catchphrase ‘This is the Life’. The live shows are televised on TV3 every Sunday from 8:00pm and streamed live on our all social media platforms.
