Opah (GA/R), Aug. 23, GNA - Nii Oko Ansro II, Chief of Opah near Amasaman in the Greater Accra Region has called on politicians to focus on developing their communities to improve the living conditions of the people instead of concentrating on party issues.

He noted that some communities lacked social amenities such as good drinking water, roads, health facilities and educational infrastructure but politicians have pushed all these importance issues to the background due to political expediency.

Nii Oko Ansro made the call during the celebration of the Homowo of the chiefs and people of Opah.

He called on parents to invest in their children's education instead of using their resources on unnecessary litigations, funerals and out-doorings. He urged the youth to be discipline and law abiding so that when they become future leaders such respect would be accorded them.
