When the names of musicians who have helped make music in GA dialect very appealing, the likes of Tinny, Adolf Tagoe ( kakalika man ), and King David, never can you omit Adane Best and Gasmilla.
Currently, Gasmilla who has produced hits like '3 points’ is the most popular artiste with the hit song titled "Telemo".
Telemo talks about a young man who went against his father's persuasion from marrying a lady he knew just for two months. When the lady started disrespecting him, his father told him not to complain because he didn't listen to him.
Despite the popularity of the song, Joseph Amoah, popularly known as Adane Best, has told Dj Murphy Lee, host of Entertainment Extra shows on Metro Fm in Sunyani that, though Gasmilla is doing so well with his Telemo hit song, he is still the pioneer.
"Oh, Telemo is good. Singing in the Ga dialect is very difficult .Gasmilla is doing very well but am the pioneer. My latest song "kpee oduna" is great" he added.
Adane Best explained that his latest track "kpee oduna " which is enjoying massive air play, talks about people who can't solve their problems but try to solve people's own.
"People should learn to stop criticizing others. You can't solve your problem but you want to solve other people's problems" Adane advised.
