Budding artist Genevieve Yanney-Lewis, better known by her stage name Genny Towdah (Towdah meaning “Praise” in Hebrew) has released the visuals for her new single 'Ewurade Woso'.
Genny is a gospel singer, songwriter, recording artist, and stage performer. She was born on March 31st 1990 in Accra-Ghana to a vocalist mom and a business-minded dad. She is the first of four siblings. Growing up in a Christian home, Genny Towdah learnt the core meaning and values of Christianity at an early age and became a born again Christian in her teen years.
She began singing and leading her church choir at an early age through the encouragement of her Pastor and spiritual mentor Albert Dadson. She became an international worship leader serving at Newness International Ministry.
This was a great experience for her to learn of the things of God as well as witnessing firsthand the outrush, outflowing power of the Holy Spirit and mind blowing miracles followed by testimonies taking place in the lives of God’s people through powerful praise and worship. She has also had encouragement and inspirational support from great men of God such as Prophet Richard Owusu from Gathsemane Ministries International and Pastor Samuel Yeboah from the Quodesh Family of Churches (LCI).
Through the grace of God, Genny Towdah has had the opportunity to minister in countries worldwide, including her home country Ghana. Her vision is that people all over the world will get to know the love of Christ through her music and experience the power of the Holy Spirit in their daily lives, as well as bringing new hope to a dying world through Christ Jesus.
