George Darko Sells Ghana In Berlin

Among the cultural ambassadors selling Ghana overseas and making every effort to ensure that Ghana is positively placed on the world map, is George Darko a.k.a. Oheneba Nana Ampem Darko, Tufuhene of Akropong Akwapem, in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

During the world cup event, while the Black Stars performed creditably, George Darko was also featured in a programme that showcased diverse cultures not only through music, but also art, dance and drama in a three day-fiesta at Potsdamer Platz, Berlin.

Pictures of George Darko in Kente and Margaret Dzikpo a professional dancer also in Kente, were exhibited on a big billboard in a photograph titled 'Faces - peaceful Colours of Cultures' at the Potsdamer Platz, Berlin.

On August 8, at Emmendingen, George also participated in the African Music Festival and was on hand again at Frankfurt the following day, to dish it out highlife music to a mixed crowd of music lovers among who were a large number of Ghanaians who danced in a circle.
