Ghana DJs Awards has gone under lots of criticisms from the time the nominees list was released. Some DJs asked the organizers to remove their names from the nominee list.
Lovin Cee of Fox Fm, a Kumasi based radio station last Sunday speaking to Charles Asare on Angel Entertainment Show disclosed that the awards lack credibility.
The award winning radio presenter said he was not surprised when the event didn’t come on because it was not well planned.
It’s a nice idea to do something like this but if you don’t consult experienced industry players you shouldn’t expect to have a good event.
The DW radio presenter disclosed that he asked his lawyers to make sure that his name was not use in anything in connection to the event because it will reduce the credibility he has attain for himself.
He further advised the organizers to make the event a regional award and select the winners for national competition rather than what they did.
