Ghana Entertainment Awards USA: Afronitaaa, Dancegod Lloyd, others bag nomination

Ghanaian dance artists Afronitaaa and Dancegod Lloyd, as well as some members of the Ghanaian dance group DWP Academy, have bagged nominations for "Best Dance Act" at the 2024 Ghana Entertainment Awards USA.

Afronitaaa, who recently wowed Ghanaians and others around the world with her outstanding performance at the Britain's Got Talent audition with her protégé Abigail, will be battling for the award alongside her former mentor Dancegod Lloyd.

DWP members including Endurance Grand, Lisa Quama, Liya Dances, Official Starter, and co-founder Afrobeast are also on the list for this year's award.

They join Incredible Zigi, Allo Danny, Jamestown Boys, and Militant Dancers for the plaque.

The Ghana Entertainment Awards USA aims to highlight the accomplishments of Ghanaian and international artists in the entertainment field.

The 2024 ceremony is set to take place on July 6 at Merkin Hall – Kaufman Music Center in New York, where the achievements of entertainers from Ghana and around the world will be celebrated.
