Ghana Movie Awards slated for Dec. 4

The 2016 edition of Ghana Movie Awards; an award scheme to recognize excellence by annually honoring achievements of actors, writers, directors, producers, technicians and other professionals in the film making industry here in Ghana and the rest of Africa.

The ceremony comes off on December 4 at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City-Accra.

Nominees will be out in the coming days.

Animated Short & Feature Film/Movie: · Best animated short or feature film/movie

Cinematography: · Achievement in cinematography

Costume & Wardrobe: · Achievement in costume and wardrobe

Directing: · Achievement in directing

Documentary & Short Film/Movie: · Best documentary · Best short movie

Movie Editing: · Achievement in movie editing

Make-up & Hair Styling: · Achievement in make-up and hair styling

Music: · Original score · Original song

Best Picture: · Best motion picture of the year (Best production)

Production Design: · Achievement in production design (the MAG Silhouette shall be given also for the set decoration on the picture/movie that wins the production design award)

Sound Editing & Mixing: · Achievement in sound editing and mixing

Visual Effects: · Achievement in visual effects

Writing: · Achievement in adapted and original screenplay
