Members of the Port community were treated to good music at a concert dubbed Passion of Christ.

The concert which was organized by the Ghana's Port Authority Choir which is currently the leading public sector choir in the country was designed to de-stress members of the Port Community from their arduous work schedule to treat them to some soothing gospel music as part of the just ended Easter celebrations and also celebrate some successes that have been chalked by the choir.

The Port Authority Choir continues to win a number of accolades lately including emerging Champions at the Papoe Thompson Coral Awards, the National Festival for Arts and Culture and the National Coral concert of Choirs in the Greater Accra Region.

Speaking at the event, the Director of Tema Port, Jacob Adorkor pledged the continuous support of the port authority to the choir.

“I take this opportunity to thank this choir, the choir which has won national awards and very soon will go international. We have come far and you are part of Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority we can do without you,” he said.
