For some, the spotlight is never too bright but with Don King Soso, the new sensation on the block, ladies just can’t handle the pressure of flashing cameras coupled with screaming and swooning anytime he steps on stage.

Imagine if fuel prices were over 10 Ghana Cedi a gallon, Samini had really retired from hiplife and Ghana Music.Com wasn’t your number one online destination- doesn’t the thought just make you go wild?  Well, Don King Soso has his audience doing just that in this potential new hit-to-be 15-track album which has car bumping tunes like ‘Hot Chocolate’ (produced by Apietus).

When this record is spun by the club DJs or radio presenters, head for the dance floor or find cover. Last year, I happen to be at a musical event but honestly, my memories of that night are a little hazy but here’s what I do remember:  one new artiste by name Don King Soso was absolutely killing the mic.

Little did I know at the time I was witnessing the emergence of a lyrically determined man who would become an absolute force in the hiplife scene. His 15-track album is indeed going to tear Ghana apart as prolific producers like Morris Baby Face, Appietus and Roland blessed the album with their magical hands.

Born in real life as Prince Kwateng Otchere in Kumasi (Krofrom), the U.K based artiste and an old student of Kings International Junior Secondary School is set to go one rung higher with his head banging album which also has U.K music producers touching it with their golden fingers. Is it the ‘jama’ feeling you want, reggae ton, hiplife, hip-hop or crunk music? Name it and Don King Soso has it all in his music bag.

He is a lyricist who paints pictures with words and complex phrases. No wonder many describe him as a dude who is sleek and whose wordplay is seasoned. It’s all set and the release date for the album will be announced soon.

Ghana Music.com will definitely bring to you more information on the young reigning champ in the hiplife industry. For more info, call +447886987996 or +233 24 3115 223.
