Ghana is gateway to Africa statement is a painful myth - Kalybos

Ghanaian actor Richard Kweku Asante popularly known as Kalybos has bemoaned the appalling and pathetic state the country is currently plunged into.

It is now the norm for celebrities to boldly add their voices to political issues. Kwame A Plus recently organized The People’s Projects (TPP) celebrity dinner. The well attended dinner touched on an array of issues that will help citizens to hold government accountable.

Kalybos made this disclosure to Zionfelix at the TPP dinner. Kalybos said the statement “Ghana is the gateway to Africa” is simply a painful myth. According to him issues like people sleeping on hospital floors due to lack of beds is definitely not representative of this statement.

“I wish there can be an actual trip to observe things happening in these hospitals. Is this what we call the gateway to Africa?” He quizzed.

Kalybos added that hyping and showing only the good places to tourists only hurt the country greatly. He strongly believes it's about time we make sure the glory of how we praise Ghana is befitting enough. Kalybos stressed his desire for the country to experience massive development at all cost.
