Ghana’s Most Beautiful Runner Up to contest NDC seat

The 2nd Runner Up in the 2011 edition of TV3’s Ghana Most Beautiful pageant Jacqueline Akweley, is contesting the Ablekuma West Constituency seat of the ruling National Democratic Congress.

Akweley has made her intentions known, and has put in place the necessary behind-the-scene works.

Constituency executives have told Kasapafmonline.com her decision hasn’t come as a surprise to them.

“She’s been actively involved in the politics here,” a source said.

An ambition nursed over some years, she faces opposition from the incumbent Member of Parliament, Ursula Owusu, of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
