Ghana’s music industry has improved – Becca

Singer Becca, born Rebecca Akosua Acheampomaa Acheampong, has acknowledged that the Ghana Music Industry has improved compared to previous years.

The music diva explained that unlike previous years, artiste these days pay attention to their management team which has contributed especially in artiste’s stage craft.

Speaking to Ama Gyenfa Ofosu Darkwa (Embosuohemaa) on Atinka TV’s morning show dubbed “Ghana nie, Becca hinted that multiple rehearsals by artists and their management team have also contributed to the improvement of the music industry.

Asked why musicians find it difficult to perform with live bands, the ‘Beshiwo’ hit maker explained that the difficulty associated with live bands is due to the training the artiste gets from his or her team.

“You can’t blame the artiste entirely, a manager who wants his or her artiste to be versatile should be able to train such an artiste from the onset” she added.

Becca on Thursday launched her latest album, ‘UNVEILING’ at the Zylofon Media headquarters in Accra.

The 13-track features collaborations with Mr. Eazi, Patoranking, Stonebwoy, Kofi Kinaata and Joyce Blessing.
