Half Ghanaian, half British fledgling singer, Maia Wallace has launched her debut single, 'Buried Deep', via YouTube to critical acclaim!

The sixteen yearold, who was once a student of Ghana International School (GIS) is now making waves in the music industry.

Often compared to Beyonce thanks to her looks and sound, Maia said she’s excited that people are enjoying her music.

“I’ve been singing for a while now, but this is the first time that I’ve written and produced my very own song and shared it so publicly” revealed Maia. “The lyrics were inspired by life events and the different emotions we sometimes battle with.”

Now studying at the United Nations International School, Hanoi (UNIS Hanoi) in Vietnam, Maia said she first discovered her voice while attending GIS.

“I’m half Ghanaian and we lived in Ghana for seven years, so I’m deeply influenced by my heritage and my time in Ghana. I’m thankful to my Ghanabased friends for their continued support.”

What’s next for Maia Wallace, the musician?

“I hope to continue writing and performing original music” Maia confirmed. “I’m thankful to God for the opportunities to constantly create and constantly challenge myself and my voice.”
