A popular Ghanaian journalist, Kwame Tutu is calling on events organizers to blacklist female dancehall artiste, Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, popularly known as Ebony.
According to the Rainbow Radio journalist, Ebony is defaming womanhood and corrupting young girls with her tiny fame she is now enjoying through music.
A report put up by ghpage.com quoted the journalist to have said the dancehall artiste lacks proper upbringing and self-respect.
“Ebony must be called to order. She must not use her little fame to disgrace womanhood. I have for some time now come across photographs and videos of Ebony exposing her private parts all in the name of she being a musician,” Kwame Tutu is quoted to have said.
The report added that Kwame Tutu speaking on Rainbow Radio took Ebony to the cleaners over what he described as her ‘ offensive indecent exposure’.
“Ebony should know that before her there were better female musicians, beautiful ones who sang better songs and they rose to fame without selling womanhood cheaply,” the journalist lamented.
Kwame Tutu who was clearly not happy about Ebony’s conduct added that, “I am surprised the Ghana police service has overlooked the girl’s activities as the 1960 criminal code frowns on her indecent exposures. It’s an offense to expose ones sexual organs, the police must arrest her and make her face the law.”
The Accra-based journalist in his conversation insisted that young children will learn from people with bad characters such as Ebony, therefore all well-meaning Ghanaians must rise up and condemn her public conduct.
The 20-year-old dancehall musician has been widely criticized for her style of dressing and in most of her stage performances.
Reports say the young musician in a few days ago mounted the stage to perform at 4syte Music Video Awards in what appears she had no underwear, hence showing her private parts to the audience.
