It is commonly said that coming events always cast their shadows and recent happenings seem to suggest that some figures in Ghana’s movie industry may be switching to full music.

Following reports of veteran actor Kojo Dadson’s preparation to release his album, a young figure in the movie industry, Lucky Caleb Ayivor, a producer and director of Ghanaian movies ‘Love 4 Rent’ and ‘Billy’, is also announcing his presence on the music scene.

Ayivor has recorded a very interesting R&B song which is geting some attention on the airwaves. It is titled ‘Perfect Picture’ and the lyrics are in English.

Sources told NEWS-ONE that Ayivor wanted to say goodbye to movie production for music because music was his first love. “I do movies but I started music before movie. Still I don’t want to leave my passion for music,” he said when he was contacted.

Ayivor has been in the Ghana movie industry for a while. He is best known for his contribution towards continuity aspect of movie production.

His pals in the movie industry call him the continuity expert. Ayivor worked hard to become a movie director. Not long ago, he directed, ‘Love 4 Rent’, featuring Eddie Watson, Helen Asante, Roselyn Ngissah and Fred Johnson among.

He is one of the few Ghanaian directors who had their movies shown at the just-ended FOFA Film Festival in Ghana. His movie was ‘Billy’, featuring Nadia Buari.
