Ghanaian actress ask DJ's to promote Ghana made music

Ghanaian actress, Beverly Afaglo last Friday at the maiden edition of the Ghana DJ Awards called on DJs in the country to promote songs made by Ghanaians and stop using foreign songs when they are exhibiting their skills.

She made the remarks when she mounted the stage to present an award. ”When you visit our clubs, tune in to the radio stations or attend events, most of the songs you hear the DJs playing are foreign especially Nigerian songs”, she lamented.

The Ghana DJ Awards came off at the National Theatre with splendid performances from DJ Rampage, DJ Nii, DJ Gospel, Merqury, Stonebwouy Burniton, Diamond among others and had DJ Black winning the most prestigious overall Best DJ of the year award.
