Ghanaian artist calls for establishment of national gallery

The Director of Artists Alliance Gallery, Omanye House, La, Professor Ablade Glover has called for the establishment of a national gallery to house indigenous contemporary art for posterity.

He says the gallery will serve as a reference point for the next generation to appreciate their cultural heritage.

Professor Glover made the suggestion when he opened an exhibition of drawings and paintings by Kate Abena Badoe at the gallery.
