Popularly known as Medikal in the entertainment terrain, performing artiste Samuel Adu Frimpong has advised fellow artistes in the music circle to exhibit genuineness in their endeavor.

The ‘Confirm’ hitmaker explained that music fanatics are more inclined to reality as opposed to the high level idealism portrayed by some artistes in the industry.

In an interview with Real Eugene on Radio Univers’ The BigX Show, the performing artiste entreated all performing artistes to eschew lies and cultivate honesty as a sure way to success in the industry and in life at large.

“In life people like to hear reality, it’s not always supposed to be something fabricated. If the thing is real, they like to vibe to it more. I talk about real things… and people like that”, he explained.

In response to the reasons why some musicians fake their identity, the AMG Business signee cited the need to meet certain purported standards as a basis for this false facade of excellence.

“I feel like some of them talk about stuff that they don’t do and talk about lives they don’t live. But it pays to be real… Take this scenario where you sometimes need to meet a lady, so you borrow a friend’s car in order to impress. This is a perfect example”, he added.

Medikal further enumerated artistes such as Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, Criss Waddle and Sarkodie respectively as products of the level of authenticity which he preaches.

Also speaking on the show, model, musician and girlfriend of the ‘bomi din ma me’ coiner, Deborah Vanessa shared some snippets of her earliest twitter conversation with the rapper.

“He said I’m adorable but that was when he was asking for a musical collaboration and he sent a heart with an excuse that he couldn’t find the blue heart… so he sent the red heart and it was pumping”, she revealed.

She also hinted of the release of a video for Medikal’s upcoming single ‘Bless You’ which features herself and directed by Wanlov the Kubolor, whom she described as Medikal’s ‘brother-in-law’.

Medikal was catapulted into the limelight with the inception of ‘Confirm’, a single which got the showbiz buzzing in anticipation of what the new entrant’s next song could bring.
