Information reaching NEWS-ONE indicate that Ghanaian clothing line, BENASH Jeans, is in talks with South African music duo Mafikizolo to sign them as ambassadors for the label.
According to a source close to the clothing line, Benjamin Toklo, Chief Executive of BENASH Jeans, met Mafikizolo over the weekend to begin arrangements.
Mafikizolo, who are known for their 'Khona' hit song, were in Ghana over the weekend for the Hennessy Artistry Concert, which was held at the Accra International Conference Centre.
When the paper met up with Mr Toklo on Monday, he confirmed that his outfit had a meeting with Theo Kgosinkwe and Nhlanhla Nciza, who together make up Mafikizolo, to design clothes for them.
'We took their measurement after our meeting on Saturday and we are currently doing a few BENASH clothes for them. If the deal goes well, they will become our ambassadors who will be rocking BENASH Jeans on the international front,' Benjamin Toklo stated.
He was however very optimistic that the South African music group would conclude the deal with his outfit once all the terms were met.
BENASH Jeans is a household name when it comes to jeans and khaki products produced in Ghana.
Benjamin Toklo is the designer responsible for most of the outfits some Ghanaian celebrities like Guru, Shatta Wale and VIP among others wear to events.
