A man and his girlfriend became the talk of the African Legends Night concert after he bent the knee to pop the marriage question to his beloved.
The unidentified gentleman capitalized on the romantic ambience provided by one of Africa’s amiable legends, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, as the latter performed an age-old hit ‘African Queen’ to the admiration of all present.
The setup which started with the display of the lady’s picture during 2Baba’s performance got her emotional throughout.
It cannot be confirmed if the song is a favourite of the lady who was being proposed to but it seems it provided enough magic to perfect the moment and win her heart.
The incident drew several eyeballs as many people surrounded the couple amidst offering congratulatory messages to the gentleman.
The video which was captured by www.ghanaweb.com cameras has also been trending on social media.
The 2019 African Legends Night concert which is the 8th edition headlined Ghana’s Highlife maestro Kojo Antwi, Congolese legend Awilo Longomba and Nigeria’s 2Baba (2face Idibia).
It was held on Saturday, September 28, at the Grand Arena Dome at International Conference Center in Accra.
