Tema based hiplife artiste Yaa Pono has thrown some hard truth to some Ghanaian music industry stakeholders. According to the rapper, the saying that DJs in the country should seize playing Nigerian songs is a very selfish one and useless talk.
The Uptown Energy CEO in an Instagram post says people do music to cross globally and that Ghanaian musicians should work hard and stop that assertion that Nigerian songs should be banned from being played on air or at events.
He mentioned that Nigerian artistes are humble and invest a lot, hence their policies are working for them.
