Ghanaian music duo, Keche have called on Ghanaians to respect our music legends for their contribution to the industry.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Fiifi Pratt on Highlife Paradise on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, the music duo urged fellow musicians and fans to respect legends because it’s not easy to make hit songs.

According to the music duo, the journey hasn’t been easy and they have had a lot of ups and downs.

Keche suggested that anyone who understands the rudiments of music should appreciate what music legends has done for the industry .

Meanwhile, Keche Andrew disputed claims that he is dating the CEO of Golden Empire Legacy Limited, the new record label owner they have signed onto.

The award winning duo, Keche, known for hits including Diabetes, Slow Motion and more signed a $500,000 recording deal with Golden Empire Legacy Limited.

The 2 year deal will see each member of the group receive a fully furnished 3 bedroom apartment and a brand new Hyundai Elantra car.

The “Diabetes” hitmakers will, aside from their mind-blowing signing on bonus, receive all necessary support to help rejuvenate their career.

Music duo Keche has dropped their first single under their new management and they call this jam ODO, which means Love.

The jam was produced by Willis Beatz and it’s making waves in Ghana and beyond.

Golden Empire Legacy Limited – a record label which has been in existence since 2016.

Keche? made up of Joshua Ampah and Andrew Cudjoe? is currently one of the most consistent and versatile music groups in West Africa. Joshua is a rapper with the power of word play and Andrew is a songster with a silky voice. Both born and raised in Takoradi in the Western Region of Ghana, their musical journey started very early in life as they both started singing at Sunday school and through basic education.

They released their first radio single in 2008 titled ‘Omegemi’, which was a huge success. They followed up with ‘Ring My Bell’ featuring Sarkodie the following year. They have since had hit songs like ‘Pressure’, ‘Sokode’, ‘Slow Motion’, ‘Aluguntugui’, ‘Diabetes’ and more.
