The General Overseer of Potter's City, Prophet Nanasei Opoku-Sarkodie, has cautioned the leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to prioritise the interests of Ghanaians as they take on the responsibility of governance.

In a video shared by NGOSRA TV on December 12, 2024, Prophet Nanasei warned that if the NDC repeats the same mistakes that led to their loss of power in previous times, God will not forgive them.

"I pray that the NDC, who Ghana has entrusted with this mandate, does not repeat the past mistakes. If they do, God will not forgive them because he is a God of second chances. I pray they don't forget this: after a massive victory comes the potential for a massive failure," he said.

The prophet also urged President-elect John Mahama and his ministers to serve the nation with humility.

"May Mahama and all the ministers not forget to serve with humility. A few months ago, I saw arrogance, pride, and a lack of sensitivity.

"When God is going to deal with you, He ensures you make mistakes. Mahama has been to the Jubilee House before, so he should go back with humility and sensitivity. They should not come and be sleeping with young ladies. I've sat with people on planes who were with young girls while their wives were at home," he added.

Prophet Nanasei Opoku-Sarkodie also recounted prayers and his spiritual direction for Sam George, which helped him win the Ningo-Prampram constituency seat.

"Sam George went to his pastor, and his pastor told him about the territorial powers in his constituency. He was advised that if I prayed for him, he would win. He tried to reach me but couldn't, so he intercepted me at T.T. Brother's traffic light, knelt before me in the street, and I told him he would win the seat," he recalled.
